(BWXT NEC) is a leading provider of nuclear fuel and fuel channel components for the CANDU® nuclear power industry.PositionProduct Owner – KitsLocationPeterborough, ONResponsibilitiesCommercial Support:Assist the manager in kit contract renewals, including forecasting opportunities, preparing estimates and proposals, and negotiating with customers.Set up budgets and open jobs for new contracts or kit returns for restocking.Finalize kit pricing and manage purchase order revisions to support shipments.Prepare estimates for parts shipping outside of a kit to meet emergent site needs.Identify upsell opportunities and manage contract change requests.Support strategic initiatives to increase revenue.Product Management:Maintain a system for monitoring and controlling kits.Define and enforce roles and responsibilities, reporting performance issues.Work with the Product Coordinator to identify product risk, analyze solutions, and resolve issues decisively.Coordinate cost or schedule recovery/mitigation plans, monitor scope creep.Prepare presentations and facilitate customer touchpoints and reporting.Build relationships with customers across supply chain, QA, procurement, engineering, and maintenance.Manage P6 schedule to reflect accurate resource profiles.Analyze job metrics (cost, fill rates, schedule). Follow proper product closure processes.Continuous Improvement:Monitor KPIs and share results with the team (revenue, margins, fill rates).Present product status, metrics, risks, and resource needs to management.Support operational business monitoring and reporting (resources, revenue forecasting, margins).Identify and champion internal improvement opportunities annually.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or an equivalent accredited university,



or a college diploma in Business Administration with sufficient experience.3–5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or Commercial Representative.Strong analytical skills (Excel).Experience in nuclear is an asset but not required.Experience with Primavera P6 is an asset but not required.Desired characteristics:Autonomous work with minimal supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Solid presentation skills.Problem‑solving attitude.Desire for learning and continuous improvement.SalaryBase salary range in Ontario: $85,000 – $126,000 per year.
