Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks within a rapid-paced healthcare office environment. This role requires proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.

Duties
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner creating a positive healthcare experience.
Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and directing inquiries as necessary.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for healthcare providers.
Collect patient information and verify insurance details accurately.
Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Maintain electronic medical records (EMR).
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients




Assist with client room turn over and re-stocking of linens for massage therapists.
Facilitate posts on social media.

Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the office.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in a busy medical office setting.
Proficiency in handling phone systems and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications
Medical office experience
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of medical terminology
Solid administrative skills, including front desk first point of contact support.

Job Type: Part time Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
