Duties
Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat according to specifications and quality standards
Ensure all meat products are handled, stored, and packaged in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist customers with selecting cuts of meat, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, tools, and equipment in accordance with health guidelines
Label products accurately, including weight, price, and expiration date information
Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of low supplies or quality concerns




Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service delivery

Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery, is preferred but not required
Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food handling procedures
Robust understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, skilled attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food packaging is a plus
Willingness to learn recent skills and adapt to evolving food industry practices
