Join MacEwan University as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Associate Vice-President of Indigenous Initiatives & Engagement. This full time, on-campus role focuses on administration while fostering a collaborative working workplace.

The Administrative

Assistant will report to the AVP, primarily managing schedules, communications, and event planning. This role requires discretion, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of Indigenous cultures to support initiatives effectively. You will ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently while promoting a welcoming setting. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee AVP’s calendar and scheduling needs
Act as first contact for Indigenous Initiatives inquiries
Organize meetings and produce related documentation
Coordinate special events and campus activities
Maintain compliance with reporting requirements Requirements:
Diploma in related field of study
At least three years of administrative experience
Indigenous lived experience desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP tools
Solid communication and organizational skills Utilize your expertise in administration to advance Indigenous initiatives through MacEwan University.
