Support the crisis program at Stonehenge as a Peer Supporter, using your unique life experiences to make a difference. This full time role includes providing stabilization and emotional support for those in distress. As part of the interdisciplinary team at Stonehenge Therapeutic Community, you’ll deliver practical and emotional care to individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges.
Your role emphasizes harm reduction and recovery-oriented practices while fostering connections that inspire hope for participants’ futures. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver harm reduction-focused peer support
Engage clients in achieving their wellness goals
Participate in discharge planning and crisis intervention
Conduct bed checks and monitor client health
Provide education and engage community partners Requirements:
Lived experience with addiction; mental health knowledge preferred
Experience in crisis outreach and support
Post-secondary qualifications in related fields
Ontario driver's license and insured vehicle
Valid Standard First Aid/CPR certification Bring your unique perspective to help others in their recovery journey at Stonehenge Therapeutic Community.
