The Opportunity

Reporting to the Assistant CK/CB Manager (or his/her delegate), the janitor must ensure compliance with all food safety related standards of the company. Responsibilities of the janitor position include but not limited to maintain manufacturing equipment cleanliness and operation of sanitation equipment.

You Will
Work at designated area, follow company’s food safety guideline in properly cleaning and storing all production generated equipment and utensils
Perform weekly cleaning duties on general areas in the facility, (e.g. wall, hallway)
Dispose of all waste and recycle according to the recycling program criteria
Use all sanitation equipment properly and safely
Work within Work Protected B.C. and in accordance with proper use of chemicals and other physical hazards in the workplace

You Should Have / Be
Previous janitorial experience preferred
Must be reliable and available to work all hours of operation including overtime, weekend, holidays, early morning and/or late-night shifts
Able to work in humid workplace
Ability to work well under minimal supervision Physically capable of standing long period of time and lifting,



bending and moving objects up to 40 pounds if necessary
