Become a vital part of Take a Hike Foundation's mission as a full time Mental Health Clinician focused on youth support and nature-based learning in Ontario. Make meaningful connections with vulnerable youth during transformative programs. In this position, you will apply counseling methods within outdoor settings to guide at-risk youth.
Your main responsibilities will include individual and group therapy, organizing essential outdoor experiences, and collaborating across disciplines. Play a crucial role in embedding mental health practices within educational frameworks. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver therapy and family support for youth
Facilitate engaging group counseling sessions
Participate in outdoor camps and educational events
Foster connections with community partners
Support land-based and emotional learning initiatives Requirements:
Master’s in Counselling Psychology or Social Work
Minimum of 3 years youth experience
Willingness to adapt to diverse scheduling
Previous work in education is beneficial
