We are seeking a reliable and efficient Cleaner/Janitor to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas in multiple facilities within a two-kilometer radius. The role includes a variety of general cleaning duties and routine maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities are always in top condition.

Job Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas, including lobbies, hallways, offices, kitchens, washrooms and common spaces
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean and sanitize restrooms; dust furniture and surfaces
Clean windows mirrors, and glass partitions as needed
Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and compost in accordance with facility procedures
Refill restroom supplies, including toilet paper, hand-soap, and paper towels
Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas and promptly address any spills or hazards to prevent accidents
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely, such as vacuums, mops, and floor buffers
Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals, adhering to all regulatory guidelines
Assist with special events set-up/clean-up,



or seasonal cleaning as needed

Requirements and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous janitorial or custodial experience is an asset
Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items up to 50 lbs, and perform physical work for extended times
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Solid communication skills and the ability to respond promptly to cleaning requests
Exposure to cleaning chemicals; must adhere to safety procedures and wear protective equipment as needed
Must have your own vehicle to travel between two facilities

Hours of Work Monday to Friday - flexible schedule with weekend availability

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $17.95-$21.50 per hour
