Job Title: Greeter

Job Summary: The Greeter is the first point of contact for visitors to the Oakhill Homes model home display, responsible for creating a warm, professional first impression, directing visitors to the appropriate New Home Consultant, and supporting front-of-house operations during business hours

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service
Greeting all visitors promptly and warmly upon arrival at the model home lot
Determine the purpose of each visit (browsing, scheduled appointment, general inquiry) and direct visitors to the appropriate Recent Home Consultant
Answer basic questions about model homes, lot availability, and hours of operation
Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor with prospective homebuyers, many of whom are early in a major purchase decision

Front-of-House Operations
Monitor the sales center entrance and model home walkway, keeping the reception area and display homes tidy and presentable
Log visitor information and inquiries as required (walk-in/lead tracking)
Assist with phone coverage or reception duties as needed
Support signage, staging, and general presentation of model homes and the display lot

Administrative Support
Notify New Home Consultants promptly when a visitor is waiting or a scheduled appointment arrives




Maintain visitor log entries per Oakhill Homes process
Report any visitor concerns or unusual activity to a manager

Health & Safety
Follow all workplace health and safety policies, particularly regarding model home access, outdoor walkways, and seasonal weather conditions
Report any safety concerns or incidents (e.g., uneven walkways, icy conditions near model homes) immediately

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience preferred; real estate, home building, or retail an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, qualified in appearance and manner
Comfortable working in a customer-facing sales environment

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $18-$19 hourly, with the exact amount based on years of experience
