Hastings House is hiring for a Hotel Porter & Groundskeeper position! Located on beautiful Salt Spring Island, Hastings House Country House Hotel is a lovely 5-star Relais & Châteaux hotel set on a 22-acre oceanfront property.

This is a varied, hands-on, guest-facing role focused on providing excellent service and helping maintain the beautiful property.

Responsibilities include:
Picking up and dropping off guests at seaplanes, ferry terminals, and marinas
Assisting guests with luggage and escorting them to their suites
Assisting with weddings and special events, including setting up and removing chairs, tables, and other event items
Maintaining grounds

The successful candidate is reliable, energetic, friendly, and comfortable working in a guest-facing hospitality setting.



The position requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors and able to lift and move heavy items, including luggage, chairs, tables, and firewood.

A valid driver's licence is required, as the position includes driving guests and operating company vehicles. A skilled appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer service skills are essential.
