Join the Bereavement Authority of Ontario as an Inspector. This hybrid position requires expertise in compliance monitoring and inspection within the bereavement sector. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act.

Your key tasks will include conducting detailed inspections, identifying areas of non-compliance, and offering actionable recommendations. You will also engage in stakeholder education to promote regulatory standards and assist in addressing consumer complaints effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Execute thorough inspections of licensed establishments
Evaluate compliance with legislation and regulations
Create detailed reports with findings and recommendations




Support legal proceedings with accurate documentation
Deliver educational outreach to licensees on best practices Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary education in regulatory or law fields
Minimum of 5 years’ related inspection experience
