Duties
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units to ensure effective operation.
Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems, and appliances to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately install or repair complex mechanical systems.
Conduct brazing and plumbing tasks as needed for system repairs or upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues involving furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and HRV / ERV.
Assist in construction projects by installing new HVAC units or mechanical components according to specifications.
Requirements
Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in HVAC systems.
Mechanical knowledge of furnaces, heat pumps, and related mechanical components.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
Construction experience is highly desirable for installation projects.
Hands-on experience with maintenance procedures on HVAC units and mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently under pressure.
Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology. G2 / 313D
