Part-Time Teachers / Tutors for High School Science and Math
As a tutor and mentor with Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible for providing superior individualized academic support for students. Scholars of London is seeking passionate and enthusiastic Part-Time Teachers / Tutors for various ages and academic subjects to join our team.
As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the prospect to positively impact students, both personally and academically. Here’s what we’re looking for:
Ontario Certified Teacher is strongly preferred
Candidates in Teachers College or strong university student with a desire to teach and a designation towards math, sciences, or French are encouraged to apply
Previous experience working with students is a requirement
Excellent English oral and written skills
A passion to help students reach their potential
Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail
Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students
Must be able to effectively teach their subjects and level
High School Math/Science candidates must be confident and able to teach math or science up to grade 12, including the following subjects: Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, Data Management, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry
Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation below.
Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm
Saturdays, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
