Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash handling equipment
Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
Serve food promptly, ensuring presentation quality and customer satisfaction
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, kitchen stations, and dining space in compliance with sanitation regulations
Assist with upselling menu items to enhance sales prospects and improve customer experience
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and smooth operations

Requirements




Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Kitchen or food industry experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
