Midland Transport is hiring an experienced Driver Trainer in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Focus on developing and assessing drivers through structured onboarding and skill evaluations. As a Driver Trainer, you will assess current drivers' competency and compliance through road testing and training sessions.

This role includes significant interaction with new hires as you lead onboarding programs focused on secure driving and operational excellence. Your coaching will ensure drivers meet Midland's high standards for safety and performance. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct road tests for different classes of drivers
Facilitate orientations on policies and operational procedures
Provide effective on-road and classroom training




Coordinate drug testing and provide evaluation feedback
Work closely with Talent Acquisition on driver recruitment Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as a professional driver
Solid understanding of industry regulations and safety compliance
Preferred background in driver training and coaching
Excellent observational and communication skills
