We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team at a bustling pet care facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs and providing exceptional care in a fun and protected environment as well as previous experience working in Animal Care. Starting pay is $17.95/hour with an increase to $19.00/hour after probationary period is completed.
Please note that pet ownership alone is not considered as professional experience.
Responsibilities
Supervise and interact with dogs in a group play setting
Monitor dog behaviour and ensure a safe play environment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for daycare clients
Skills
Solid customer service skills to interact with pet owners
Ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary
Knowledge of dog behaviour and body language is a plus
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Pay: $17.95 per hour
