Dental Receptionist

Join the Blue Heron Dental team!

We're looking for a warm, organized, and people-focused Dental Receptionist to be the friendly face of our practice. Whether you already have dental experience or you're looking to start a career in dentistry, we'd love to hear from you. Dental experience is an asset, but it's not required—we're happy to train the right person!

What You'll Do

As our Dental Receptionist, you'll help create a welcoming experience for every patient while keeping our front office running smoothly.

Responsibilities include
Welcoming patients and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude.
Answering phones, booking appointments, and managing the daily schedule.
Checking patients in and out and updating their information.
Verifying insurance coverage and assisting with insurance inquiries.
Processing payments and helping with billing questions.
Maintaining accurate patient records in our practice management software.




Supporting our clinical team to ensure a smooth and productive patient experience.
Assisting with general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and correspondence.

What We're Looking For
A positive, friendly, and professional personality.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy setting.
Great attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Experience with ABELDent is an asset, but not required.
