YTR Transport is hiring a reliable, organized, and motivated Dispatch Coordinator/Office Administrator to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Duties
Coordinate and dispatch drivers and transportation services efficiently.
Schedule pickups, deliveries, and routes.
Communicate with drivers, customers, and team members throughout the day.
Monitor driver schedules and provide updates as required.
Track shipments and follow up on delays or operational issues.
Answer phone calls and respond to emails and customer inquiries.
Maintain accurate records, paperwork, and transportation documentation.
Assist with invoicing, filing, data entry, and general office administration.
Ensure transportation procedures and company policies are followed.
Provide administrative support to the operations team.

Requirements




Previous experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, or dispatch is required.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a quick-paced workplace.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Computer proficiency, including email and Microsoft Office.
Experience with dispatch or transportation management software is an asset.
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
