Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing educational setting. This role involves assisting lead teachers in implementing engaging activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive space, and fostering positive interactions with children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with disabilities.

Responsibilities
Support lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills
Assist with supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and mealtime to ensure safety and engagement




Provide attentive care to children, including helping with personal needs and fostering a caring workplace
Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and materials regularly
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a positive educational experience
Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones for reporting purposes

Experience
At least 1 year of classroom experience working with children in a Montessori Child Care Centre is preferred

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
