Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload packages efficiently using appropriate moving techniques and equipment
Deliver goods to customers promptly, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance
Communicate clearly with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes
Assist with warehouse tasks such as heavy lifting, moving stock, and organizing deliveries when needed
Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records throughout each shift
Skills
Experience in moving heavy items safely and efficiently in a warehouse or delivery environment
Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
Forklift certification is a plus for handling certain types of cargo or warehouse tasks
Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and moving throughout the shift
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics and inventory management
