At CHEC, we're passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare services within local communities. Due to ongoing service demand, we're looking for experienced Practitioners in Minor Operations to join our bank workforce across Essex.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our dermatology service, supporting clinicians during minor surgery clinics and contributing to excellent patient outcomes throughout the patient journey.

What You'll Be Doing
Supporting clinicians during dermatology and minor operations clinics
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment is clean, protected and ready for use
Acting as a chaperone during examinations and procedures
Assisting with patient assessments, care delivery and discharge processes
Providing patients with clear post-procedure advice and information




Handling and preparing histology samples in accordance with procedures
Supporting infection prevention and control standards
Ensuring a positive, professional and compassionate patient experience at all times

Essential

What We're Looking For
Current registration with the NMC or HCPC
Experience supporting dermatology procedures and/or minor operations within a clinical, community or hospital environment
Solid understanding of patient care, safety and clinical governance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Flexible approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
