As a Clinical Genomics Technologist I, you will report directly to the Manager of Clinical Genomics at IWK Health, where you’ll play a pivotal role in laboratory operations.

Your responsibilities encompass performing extensive molecular testing, conducting genomic analyses, and ensuring adherence to QA/QC protocols. You will work within a team-oriented setting dedicated to precision medicine and excellence in patient care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document molecular genetic testing procedures
Analyze genomic samples using sequencing technologies




Prepare and manage cytogenetic specimens effectively
Maintain laboratory equipment and address technical issues
Adhere to health safety standards and protocols Requirements:
Enrollment or degree in Clinical Genetics Technology required
Experience with NGS and Microarray techniques is preferred
CSMLS certification necessary or eligibility
NSCMLT license needed or eligible
