In this part time role offered by the Town of Oakville, you will play a vital role in imparting ceramic techniques to diverse groups.
You are tasked with developing a curriculum that fosters creativity in hand building and wheel throwing, ensuring all classes are accessible and enjoyable. Your approach will prioritize safety and inclusivity, creating a welcoming workplace for all learners. Key Responsibilities:
Instruct children and adults in ceramics across two studios
Create tailored course materials and creative lesson plans
Research and implement inclusive clay programming
Foster a supportive learning experience for all participants
Collaborate with departmental initiatives and goals Requirements:
Completion or current study in a ceramics program
Proven experience in lesson creation and instructional design
Prior teaching in ceramics or similar artistic disciplines
Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary ceramics techniques
