Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide companionship to reduce loneliness and foster social engagement
Support medication administration following prescribed instructions and safety protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable setting
Help with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
Support clients with specialized care needs such as dementia,



hospice care, or disabilities by implementing personalized care plans
Document care activities accurately and communicate any changes or concerns to supervising staff

Qualifications
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care, or hospice care is highly preferred
Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
Knowledge of dementia care and patient-centered approaches to senior care
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
Robust skills in caregiving tasks such as medication administration and meal preparation
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate attitude towards clients’ needs
Valid certifications related to caregiving or healthcare are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary training is expected
