Become an Occupational Health & Safety Lead at Columbia Basin Trust in Castlegar, BC, and contribute to safety excellence. Engage in coaching and mentoring while enhancing the EHS Management System. This full time role is pivotal in overseeing safety protocols and fostering a culture of safety within the Power Operations Department.

You will conduct inspections, lead incident investigations, and spearhead training initiatives. Your expertise will be key in compliance and improving safety systems and culture. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the EHS Management System and risk management
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
Lead training sessions and safety program development
Facilitate incident investigations and handle emergency plans
Provide ongoing support during power outages and spills Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
At least 5 years of OHS experience in relevant industries
Qualified OHS certification or immediate eligibility
Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence and satisfactory driving record
