We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bottle Sorter / Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on position involving bottle sorting, customer pickups, loading and unloading, and general warehouse duties.
The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, comfortable working in a quick-paced environment, and able to complete scheduled bottle pickups throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Sort bottles and other recyclable materials according to established guidelines
Complete scheduled bottle pickups from customers and businesses
Safely drive company vehicles when completing pickups and deliveries
Load and unload bottles, bins, bags, and other recyclable materials
Assist customers during pickups when required
Perform regular heavy lifting throughout the shift
Keep sorting, warehouse, and work areas clean and organized
Work with other team members to maintain an efficient workflow
Follow all workplace and driving safety procedures
Perform other general bottle depot duties as required
Requirements
Valid driver's licence is required
Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred
Comfortable driving for scheduled customer pickups
Able to perform heavy lifting and physical work throughout the shift
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Solid attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Previous bottle depot, warehouse, delivery, recycling, or similar experience is an asset but not required
Training will be provided
