Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Sage. Personal income tax preparation would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
Process payroll and maintain payroll records
Complete GST returns
Compile corporate year ends
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

Experience




Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of payroll processing procedures is an asset
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
