Join the team as a Behaviour Support Facilitator providing in-home support for families affected by dementia. Utilize your education and experience to offer guidance and solutions tailored to caregivers’ needs. In this role, you will assist families in improving their understanding and management of neuro-cognitive disorders.
Candidates should possess relevant educational backgrounds, with at least two years of practical experience in caring for older adults. Your contributions will help ease the challenges faced by families within the district, enhancing care and support. Key Responsibilities:
Offer education and tools for caregiver support
Assist in decreasing challenging expressive situations
Connect families with community health resources
Evaluate and measure program effectiveness
Travel across specified district areas Requirements:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in health/social science
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle
Bilingual in English and French
Current CPR and First Aid Certification Leverage your skills in dementia support to make a real difference in the community.
