Provides ongoing one-on-one intervention with a 10-year-old neurodiverse child at the family’s home in Richmond, BC.
Implements a comprehensive program, developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that focuses on academic skills, behavioral regulation, and social skills.
Conducts one-on-one sessions (typically 2 hours in length) focusing on academic assistance, social skills, and executive functioning.
Reviews lesson plans, notes, and current materials as assigned by Junior Behaviour Consultant.
Sets up and cleans up work area before and after each session.
Records session notes, data tracking, and hours worked each session.
Attends team meetings as requested by the family and Behaviour Consulting team.

Pay:

Hourly Rate:

· Range $22-$25/hour (hourly rate will be determined by previous experience and training)

· Paid as an independent consultant by the client's family (typically requires invoice).

Working hours:

At least two weekday sessions (2.0 hours each session).

Ideal availability: Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday (starting time at 3:30pm or 4:00 PM during academic school year). Flexibility for earlier start times during school breaks.





Requirements:
Energetic, communicative, engaging individual who enjoys working with children.
An individual who comprehends and can exemplify accountability and integrity.Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
.Must be 19 years of age or older.
Current criminal record check is required
.Previous experience helping or supporting neurodiverse children is an asset.
Post-secondary education in a related field is advantageous.
Knowledge of popular video games, super heroes, action movies is an asset.

Location: Near Ironwood in Richmond, BC.
