A busy Property Management company, located in Burnaby is looking for a full time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities
Bill strata fees, special assessments, and other charges to the Strata Owners. Record additional charges to Strata Owners accounts as requested by strata corporations or strata corporation bylaws.
Record receipts (cheques or Pre-authorized payments) from strata owners.
Record NSF receipts (cheques or Pre-authorized payments).
Maintain and produce up-to-date A/R reports as policy requires.
Produce account statements for individual strata owners with outstanding balances which are mailed monthly.
Maintain the database of strata owner information including strata fees, scheduled charges, mailing addresses, strata lot information, etc.
Handle accounts receivable account enquiries from strata owners.
File hard copy backup created during the month.
Follow cash management policies and procedures as established by accounting department.
Daily bank deposits, as required.
Field enquires from clients regarding A/R on A/R desk (note,



these are incoming calls and there are no collections calls required with this position).

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in a similar position within the Property Management industry and must be able to speak and write fluently in English as there will be significant interaction with our clients. A friendly demeanor and the ability to empathize with clients is an essential attribute of the successful candidate.

Please note that this is a permanent full time position, with work to be performed within our office. We have a fully implemented COVID-19 safety plan to ensure the safety of our employees and clients.
