Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Farm Supervisor. This role involves overseeing daily farm operations, ensuring the health and well-being of livestock, and managing agricultural activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with cattle, and experience with farm machinery is preferred. This position requires hands-on work and the ability to work with others effectively.

Responsibilities
Oversee animal care and handling, ensuring the health and welfare of livestock
Maintain farm equipment
Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Ensure maintenance schedules for tools, machinery, and facilities are followed
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in feedlot operations
Train staff on proper cattle handling techniques and equipment operation

Skills




Supervising experience in an agricultural environment
Solid mechanical knowledge related to farm equipment and machinery
Proficient in animal husbandry practices and animal care techniques
Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and maintenance practices
Basic computer skills for record keeping and inventory management
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties
Strong communication skills for effective team management

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
