As part of the Community Development team, the Active Living Coordinator will help implement the Town's Active Living Strategy over a 12-month contract.

Your expertise in program coordination and community partnership building will play a vital role in this highly visible position. You'll work directly with diverse groups, ensuring accessible and inclusive recreation experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and enhance the Active Living Strategy
Lead programs for youth, families, and seniors




Manage planning for Multi-Sport activities
Develop relationships with community partners
Coordinate public awareness campaigns on active living Requirements:
Degree in Community Development or related area
Three years’ experience in program coordination
Excellent relationship-building capabilities
Solid initiative and independent working skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Drive community wellness and promote active living in Antigonish through recreation programs.
