Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Assist with meal presentation and garnishing to ensure visual appeal
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper food handling and storage
Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring inventory levels are maintained

Requirements




Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Previous experience serving guests or working directly with customers is advantageous but not essential

Pay: $17.60-$19.60 per hour
