ProColor Collision Clairlea is seeking a permanent, full-time Accounting Technician to maintain accurate financial records and support the company’s accounting and reporting operations.

Responsibilities
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Maintain general ledgers and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Post journal entries and prepare trial balances.
Reconcile bank, credit-card, accounts-payable and accounts-receivable records.
Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
Assist with payroll calculations and related records.
Prepare GST/HST filings and other applicable financial and tax documentation.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and year-end accounting requirements.
Prepare statistical, financial, accounting and management reports.
Assist external accountants and auditors by organizing and providing required financial records.




Review financial transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain organized and confidential accounting records.

Requirements
College/CEGEP education in accounting, bookkeeping, finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Robust organizational, analytical and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
Accurate, dependable and reliable.

Employment terms
Permanent, full time position.
38 hours per week.
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wage: $37.96 per hour.
Work must be performed in person at 33 Upton Road, Scarborough, Ontario.

Pay: $37.96 per hour
