Tap & Barrel Shipyards is currently on the hunt to grow our FOH leadership team at our flagship location in North Vancouver. We are looking for experienced full time leaders. We are looking for an individual that inspires the team and has a passion for hospitality.

Tap & Barrel Shipyards is located on the beautiful waterfront Lower Lonsdale district in North Vancouver. Steps away from the sea-bus terminal and multiple transit routes. Responsible for maintaining all operations and creating positive guest experiences, this person embodies our company's core values and has a passion for leading and developing the team.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Support Tap & Barrel’s Core Values
Oversee and monitor daily restaurant operations, provide assistance when necessary
Coordinate with management team on production planning and forecasting
Oversee tracking and recording labour, sales, inventory etc.
Oversee and improve guest service (greeting, educating, processing transactions)
Develop business strategies to attract more guests & optimize profitability




Assist in planning, organizing, marketing, and executing events and parties
Supervise, manage, and schedule staff (100+ FOH staff)
Initiate and assist with staff meetings and training as necessary
Educate guests and staff on beer styles, beer history, and beer flavours
Educate guests and staff on wine styles, wine history, and wine flavours
Hiring/Recruitment and training of Tap & Barrel staff
Deal with all issues that may arise from staff and/or guests

A minimum 3 years of management experience in restaurants and hospitality is a requirement. We are looking for an experienced individual with a goal to grow in leadership within our company.
