Millwright 433A - Guelph- Day shift - $80 to 85 base + Overtime + Full Perks

Overview
Our client, a leading manufacturer is seeking a Millwright (433A) to join the maintenance team. This is an in-person role. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various types of industrial machinery. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment within the plant.

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
Interpret schematics and blueprints to understand equipment layout and operational requirements.
Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance activities and ensure minimal downtime.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they become critical.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, including industrial electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive facility upkeep.
Troubleshoot plant equipment
Provide training and guidance to junior staff on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.

Experience




You must have Millwright certificate 433A and a mechanical/electrical aptitude.
This is an in office position and requires travel everyday to the plant in Brampton.
Familiarity with electrical systems, including logic controllers, is an asset.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics, manuals and blueprints.
Ability to develop good working relations with all levels of the company.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required.
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team.
