Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is looking to hire a Electronics Procurement Specialist/ Buyer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

Procure and place orders for goods, materials and services.

Use ERP systems to review material requirements.

Research and survey buying markets in order to source optimal suppliers.

Keep material related information up to date and accurate in the ERP system.

Handle shipping arrangements, and arrange for customer processing when required.

Work with vendors and suppliers to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.

Negotiate return of items to vendors.

Qualifications

Education: University or college degree in material managing,



purchasing or business administration.

8 years of purchasing experience.

Experience with purchasing electronics an asset.

Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
