Job Summary:

Railway City Brewing Co. is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring the highest quality of food, preparation and cleanliness.

Schedule changes based on special events, seasonality and business needs.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
Ensure all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served safely
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and portioning as needed
Collaborate with service team members to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Operating and cleaning food production equipment and food preparation areas
Washes, cleans and stores dishes, cutlery, fixtures and equipment used for food preparation and service
Maintain a sanitary work environment following food safety guidelines
Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:




Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a quick-paced kitchen environment
Knowledge of food safety practices
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Understanding of kitchen operations and equipment
Food Handler's Certification is a must
