Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various carpentry tasks, including deck building, fence building, framing, finish carpentry. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to use both power tools and hand tools effectively. The Carpenter will be responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.

Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Restore existing structures to their original condition or enhance them with current materials.
Lay tile and install flooring according to project specifications.
Install framing and decking to improve aesthetics and protect against weather elements.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Perform construction painting as needed to finish projects professionally.




Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project completion on time.

Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter with a solid portfolio of completed projects.
Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including but not limited to renovations, decking, fencing, trim work.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
Experience using power tools and hand tools in a safe manner.
Previous maintenance person experience is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
