Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service for all guests
Requirements
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and inventory purposes
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff
Previous experience in hospitality or the food industry is preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential!
