Must have at least 3 years of sales experience in an optometric clinic or optical store
Solid eyewear sales capability and product knowledge
experience with promoting and fitting high end independent eyewear brands
Guiding patients when selecting frames for proper fit and styling
Taking eye and spectacle measurements to correctly fill prescriptions
Perform any necessary repairs or adjustments
Preparing work order for optical laboratory
Edge and mount lenses
Ensuring that all orders arrive and are to the specifications of the patient
Basic bookkeeping duties associated with tracking patient’s orders and recording purchases and other necessary information for each patient
Maintaining displays
Working with sales professionals from vision care suppliers
Schedule appointments for patients to see the eye doctors
Housekeeping duties such as replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness
