We are seeking a passionate and skilled Ethnic Line Cook specializing in Nigerian dishes to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook traditional Nigerian dishes with authentic flavors and techniques
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards
Serve dishes promptly and professionally to customers or dining staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences
Monitor inventory levels for ingredients specific to Nigerian cuisine and communicate needs accordingly
Experience
Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly preferred
Full Knowledge of Nigerian cuisine or other ethnic cuisines is a requirement; training will be provided for our standards.
Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and standards in the food industry
Experience with meal preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining cleanliness standards is desirable
Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure high-quality and safe dining experiences
