Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Painter, where your skills will bring precision, quality, and vibrancy to our production processes. In this role, you'll be responsible for applying coatings and finishes to a variety of components and assemblies, ensuring they meet strict quality standards. Your mechanical knowledge and attention to detail will help us maintain a safe, efficient, and cutting-edge workspace. Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply primers, paints, stains, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or power tools with precision and consistency
Operate heavy machinery such as cranes and forklifts safely to move materials or equipment as needed for painting tasks
Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing work
Follow safety protocols diligently, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lean manufacturing principles
Conduct inspections of finished work to ensure color accuracy, smoothness,
and adherence to specifications
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the painting process
Experience
Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing painting roles with a robust understanding of surface preparation and coating application
Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly processes, and the operation of power tools
Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus for understanding material properties and repair processes
Ability to read basic math measurements for precise application of coatings and materials
Experience working in lean manufacturing environments that emphasize efficiency and continuous improvement
Knowledge of safety standards related to crane operation, forklift handling, and use of hand tools
Prior exposure to welding or machining environments is beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
