Maintenance / Cleaner – Part-Time
Location: Bowmanville, ON
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance / Cleaner to join our team at a residential property in Bowmanville. This position combines routine cleaning with light maintenance tasks to ensure the building remains clean, protected, and well maintained for residents.
Schedule
Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain building common areas including hallways, lobby, party room, and shared spaces
Clean and sanitize public washrooms
Remove garbage and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
Perform light maintenance duties including:
Changing light bulbs
Minor toilet repairs
Basic building upkeep tasks
Assist with removal or moving of appliances when required
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Litter pickup at the plaza next door 2xW
Requirements
Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
Ability to perform light repairs and basic maintenance tasks
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Ability to lift and move appliances or heavier items when required
Positive communication skills and ability to work independently
