Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis (professional cleanings) and periodontal assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, following safety protocols
Taking Itero scans
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans to improve their dental health outcomes
Assist in patient education about orthodontics, pediatrics, and other specialized treatments as needed
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as CLEARDENT
Support the dental team with assisting during procedures, sterilization, and chairside support




Communicate clearly with patients in multiple languages if bilingual skills are available, ensuring they understand treatment options and instructions

Requirements
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations
Proven experience working in a dental office environment, preferably with pediatric or orthodontic cases
Proficiency with CLEARDENT or similar dental practice management software
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care
Robust customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse patient populations
Experience in dental assisting or supporting orthodontic treatments is a plus
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader community effectively

Pay: $45.00-$51.00 per hour
