Cloud Platform Engineer x2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Cloud Platform Engineer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 - Job Description:
The Senior Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting reusable cloud platform capabilities in Azure. The role involves enabling cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and emerging AI workloads through infrastructure automation, platform standardization, and engineering best practices. The engineer will support the design, build, and enhancement of Azure-based platform services, focusing on infrastructure automation, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD modernization, observability improvements, and cloud-native application enablement.

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 - Responsibilities:
Design and support Azure cloud settings
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
Manage Kubernetes and Docker container platforms
Enhance cloud platform operations for scalability, resiliency, and security
Provide monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
Collaborate with engineering, architecture,



security, and delivery teams

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 - Mandatory Skills:
8+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
Hands-on experience with Azure
Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
CI/CD pipeline development and optimization skills
Automation scripting using Python
Robust understanding of cloud platform operations, scalability, resiliency, and security

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience supporting GenAI, AI/ML, or RAG platforms
Knowledge of Azure API Management (APIM)
Bash scripting skills
Familiarity with Databricks
Experience building reusable enterprise platform services

Cloud Platform Engineer x2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion to full time employment.
