We are hiring a hands-on Installation Technician to run network and low-voltage cables and install TVs, speakers, security cameras, Wi-Fi access points, equipment racks, and related technology.

Experience in structured cabling, IT installation, security systems, telecommunications, electrical work, construction, or home automation is an asset. Training may be provided to candidates with solid mechanical ability and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
Run, secure, label, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 and other low-voltage cables.
Install TVs, speakers, security cameras, wireless access points, and network equipment.
Install patch panels, switches, equipment racks, NVRs, and related hardware.
Route cables through walls, ceilings, conduits, and cable trays.
Mount equipment safely and accurately.
Troubleshoot cable, network, audio, video, and connectivity issues.
Read floor plans, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.




Maintain clean cable management and organized job sites.
Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
Complete service records and installation documentation.

Requirements
Experience with cabling, IT, security cameras, AV, electrical work, construction, or a related trade is preferred.
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and cable-testing equipment.
Basic understanding of networks, Wi-Fi, TVs, speakers, or camera systems.
Solid troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lb/23 kg.
Ability to work above ceilings, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, or travel.

Pay: $18.35-$30.00 per hour
