Overview

We are looking for a reliable and organized part-time kitchen assistant to join our childcare team. In this role, you will maintain a clean, secure, and efficient kitchen environment while helping to prepare and serve safe meals for children. Hours for this position are 12 PM- 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Duties
Wash, sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
Organize food inventory, storage areas and kitchen supplies.
Prepare and serve afternoon snacks to classrooms safely (strictly manage and review all allergies and dietary restrictions before serving).
Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation practices

The successful candidate will be required to provide the following documentation before the start date: Valid food handler certificate, Transparent Vulnerable Sector Check, Up-to-date proof of immunizations

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
