Responsibilities
Support food preparation activities by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
Assist with cooking tasks, including grilling, frying, baking, and plating meals to ensure quality and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and storing ingredients properly
Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests or team members, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Follow all food safety protocols and handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
Support the team during busy service times by staying flexible,



proactive, and maintaining a positive attitude

Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food handling safety practices and basic meal preparation techniques
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail in all duties
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Basic understanding of cooking methods including serving, food preparation, and kitchen safety protocols
A genuine passion for working in the food industry with a desire to grow culinary skills over time
