Position: Waiter / Waitress
Portugalos Restaurant – Gatineau

Portugalos Restaurant is looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic team!

We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and knows how to create a welcoming experience for every guest.

Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Provide knowledgeable recommendations about our menu
Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
Ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience
Maintain a clean and organized service area
Process payments and handle transactions accurately
Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
Assist with opening and closing duties
Follow restaurant standards for service, cleanliness, and hospitality

Requirements
Previous serving experience is required
Excellent customer service and communication skills




Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Skilled, positive, and team-oriented attitude
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
French required; English is an asset
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
